OUR STORY:

Benny Lichtenwalner (37) joined the USMC Reserve in 2001 after attending bootcamp at Parris Island, SC.  He deployed with 4th MLG HQSVCBN Det PRP to Iraq in 2003 and again in 2005 to perform search and recovery operations for U.S. casualties. 

After repeated exposure to military incidents involving casualties or required cleanup, Ben returned stateside in late 2005 and started a crime scene cleaning company with a fellow Marine and ran it until 2010 during which time he supervised several hundred cleanup efforts in the homes of families across the southeast.  In 2011, Ben went to work for Stericycle as a compliance specialist serving hospitals through hazardous waste collection program design. 

Benny received OSHA 40 HR HAZWOPER training and Certified Crime Scene Cleaner status under Michael Tillman in 2005 in Irving, TX.  He has also been a guest speaker at the GA Funeral Director's Association, the GA International Association for Identification, and is a certified GA POST Instructor for Crime Scene Cleaning.

Benny is an avid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and competitor and trains under Professor Phillipe Gentry at SBG in Buford, GA.  He is currently at the rank of Blue Belt and has placed as high as Silver Medal at the 2016 IBJJF Atlanta Summer Open.  Benny resides in Duluth, GA.
